Review

DivX Web Player is a free player for video files using the DivX codec (Digital Video Express). Globally, we can find websites that contain DivX video files to watch online for free or with a paid subscription, and this program will allow us to enjoy these videos in an easy and attractive manner.

With DivX Web Player (formerly known as the DivX Browser Plug-In), we can play this type of video files in a web browser, in SD (standard definition) or HD (high definition) quality. DivX Web Player can be used with Internet Explorer, Opera, and now it supports Mozilla Firefox 3, and also has a special version for Mac OS. It is preferable to download the Beta 2 version as it solves some issues with Firefox and Windows Vista.

It is a simple player at first sight. We can Play / Pause, Stop, Rewind, go Full Screen, adjust Volume, and change some preferences. The player has a basic installation, but it is recommended to reboot the browser and the operating system. For HD playback, a 2.0 GHz P4 PC or better with 512MB of RAM is required, with DirectX 7 or above and a good video card.

I request you, to please update this DivX Web Player properly because if i want to see online movies through web i am getting buffering always and very often. So, i am unable to watch movies online continuously
